The Story
At Renewed, we believe every teddy bear has a story worth telling - and a future worth saving.
It all began with a simple idea: what if those much-loved bears, tucked away in cupboards or destined for landfill, could be brought back to life? We see their history not as flaws, but as evidence of a life well-loved.
Reusing and re-loving has always been close to my heart. I’ve seen the beauty in giving something a second chance - and the joy it brings when something is restored to its former charm. Every bear rescued is a small step toward a more thoughtful, sustainable world, where what we have is cared for is not discarded, but brings joy

'My teddy bear growing up was my reading buddy. When I would read rather than going to sleep of a night, he would be my parent lookout at my lamp when I would pull the blankets over us. We did this so often without getting caught - he was very good at his job - and he never complained, even to the point when his fur got singed from leaning up so close to the warm lamp!
My mum also was given a teddy post one of her surgeries by a close friend when her scar placement meant she no longer had a belly button. This teddy mimics the imagery and was such a comfort for her battling with body image. So no matter the age, teddies are special.'
